ANEST IWATA ISP SCROLL PUMP

As ISP dry scroll vacuum pumps do not contain lubricating oil or sealing water resulting in no back-migration of fluid, it ensures clean vacuum. it is light-weight and occupies minimum space because of original design called double wrap scroll. While orbiting scroll makes one turn, the process of suction, compression and exhaust proceeds continuously, resulting in a minimum pulsation which provides less vibration and low noise. Due to double wrap scroll design which is dynamically stable, ISP dry scroll vacuum pumps can deal with a wide range of applications ranging from atmospheric pressure to the ultimate pressure. There is little power variance between atmospheric pressure and the ultimate pressure, which allows repeated continuous operation between atmospheric pressure and vacuum. The Air Flush device has been added as a standard feature. Shaft seal configuration has also improved. Due to the Air Flush and the new shaft seal system, reliability and maintenance interval as well as evacuating performance of water vapor and small particles have been now remarkably improved.

BOC EDWARDS XDS SCROLL PUMP

The XDS pump is a compact, reliable vacuum pump which is suitable for use on vapour handling processes. The XDS pump may be used for some pumping applications involving corrosive substances and particulates. The body of the pump includes a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll. The orbiting scroll is driven by the electric motor through an eccentric cam on the motor drive shaft. The movement of the orbiting scroll, meshed with the fixed scroll, forms successive crescent shaped volumes in the pump. Gas which enters the pump through the inlet is compressed by the movement of the orbiting scroll and swept towards the centre of the fixed scroll. The compressed gas enters the exhaust port near the centre of the stationary scroll and is exhausted from the pump through the outlet. The XDS pump is a dry vacuum pump, as all the bearings, with their hydrocarbon lubricant, are isolated from the vacuum space. The inlet of the pump is fitted with a removable inlet strainer which prevents the entry of debris into the pump. The pump mechanism is driven directly by a single phase electric motor. The motor is fitted with an on / off switch (7) and a thermal overload device. The thermal overload device has an automatic reset; when the motor cools down, the device resets and (unless you have incorporated suitable control equipment which must be manually reset), the motor will restart. The pump is air-cooled by a fan mounted at the opposite end to the motor.

BOC EDWARDS GVSP30 SCROLL PUMP

The GVSP30 is a compact, reliable vacuum pump designed for use on clean processes. The GVSP30 pump is not suitable for use with explosive, flammable, toxic or corrosive substances, or substances which contain particulates, or powders. If you want to pump condensable vapours, or if you will regularly use the GVSP30 to pump down from atmospheric pressure in a humid environment (exceeding 60%), you must use gas ballast. Inlet gas temperatures should not exceed 50 degrees Celsius. If you need to pump gases above temperature, install a chiller in the foreline, otherwise premature failure of the pump may occur. The body of the pump includes stationary scrolls and an orbiting scroll. The orbiting scroll is driven by the electric motor through an electric cam on the motor drive shaft. The movement of the orbiting scroll, meshed with the stationary scrolls, forms successive crescent shaped volumes in the pump. Gas wich enters the pump through the inlet is compressed by the movement of the orbiting scroll and swept towards the centre of the stationary scrolls and is exhausted from the pump through the outlet. The pump is air cooled and has an electric motor and an hours counter which operates when the electrical supply to the pump is switched on.

  • VARIAN:

VARIAN TRI-SCROLL PUMPS

Varian TriScroll 300 series pumps are designed to provide years of trouble-free service if maintenance procedures and intervals are observed. Bearing grease replenishment and tip seal replacement is recommended when the pump base pressure has risen to an unacceptably high level for your application. Bearings, rotary seals and O-rings should also be replaced if the pump exhibits humming or grinding noises from the bearings. Main bearing life may be shortened if your application requires the pumping of high quantities of water vapor. Use of the bearing purge will keep this water from impacting bearing life.
